I was in and out too. Its a little disconcerting though, last year the line was a mile long and I waited for an hour to vote . That was for a national, "historic" election. This is for our Governor, which will most likely effect more people directly...and nobody was there.

Did my duty around 3:30 this afternoon. No one at the poll other than the watchers. Completely void of voters.

Almost forgot. I cant believe Fairfax County wants to borrow $250M for schools...

Please stop spending my money like drunken sailors.

I voted just a few minutes after the polls opened and then promptly headed for the range to spend the day shooting stuff. Great day all around....

I did my civic duty, Stafford offered paper or electronic ballot. My wife also did her duty as well. We voted for the elephant at about 10 this morning, I was the only guy at the booths. They were checking driver licences, which i thought was a joke, being that Stafford DMV was caught issuing them to illegal alians, I mean undocumented citizens, a year or so ago.

The lady only wanted my voter card. I asked her how she knew it was me. "Well, thats all they wanted us to look at."

Fairfax co @ Rose Hill was using paper ballots too. Felt like we'd gone back to the stone age! "Really?? You want me to fill in the circle with a pen? You're kidding, right?"

The "ask" for more debt ticked me off as well. :(

No. After 200 years of voting, we are not more free. We are not even as free as we were.

I will not choose a proxy to take money or property from innocent people on my behalf, through violence or the threat of violence. Therefore, I will not vote.

At least a paper ballot can be recounted. Regarding the $250 million they want for schools I was thinking "gee, I guess you guys need to talk to obama about some stimulus huh."

I cant believe that measure passed.

Funny how they use the same things in their attempts to get money out of the taxpayers,, It's for schools,, think of the children,, we are below the national average, and so on,,, My response is always the same,,You have a budget ,work within it and get your hand out of my pockets,, If you can;t then start cutting the amount of government spending on crap we don;t need or want, Unneeded Social programs come to mind right away,Then perks for the higher ups, Lot of places to save money if they just try .

I'd think they could save a boatload of money simply by not catering to all the "immigrants" that have trouble speaking our language.

Not to change the subject, I purchased a sig P226 at the Fredricksburg gun show. It has the Crimson Trace, but im not sure how to adjust it for target accuracy, The sales guy gave me the firearm with it on it, but there were no books on the gun or the Crimson trace. Im not sure how to contact the guy that sold me the firearm, so Im sort of stuck with no information. I have used this kind of firearm in the past, Directions are not needed for it, but the Crimson trace sighting is another story.any help would be appreciated.. Thanks Steve.
