My best guess would be that it's weighted forward and un-rifled. The rings shift in and out on cams, much like 'actuated' piston rings, creating low pressure areas in the direction the little sucker wants to fly. Kinda like the dimples on a golfball...

Quick question first? How come you can "horn in" or "butt in" but can't "horn out", just "butt out"?

I found some old Wilkins Coffee commercials, one of which had a character "cutting on" an electric chair. Forum appropriate, there were guns in several of those ads.
