Actually not a fireplace ...Just a flue for a woodstove. Brick hearth and brick wall floor to ceiling . 12" x 12" flue and brick on exterior!

Your place is bigger than my last house! Good luck, and more power to you, it will be great to have a place to go get away from everything.

Buck Stove's current design with the breather pipes is flippin' awesome! Better than watching TV, and efficient as all getout.

Just sayin'...

I realize this property is probably another half hour-ish past there, or more, but I'm going to have to insist that I come out there and make sure that the cabin and range are up to par. The pictures look great, but I like to check things out in person, just to make sure. I'll be in touch... :)

I'm going to be there just about all day Monday...Just doing some clean up. Let me know if it works for you !

We have been working on our Cabin when we can find the time. Finally have it closed in and can now lock it secure. I have several work projects to complete and then can get back to working on the cabin for a while. The well and septic should be complete soon and hoping to get a date set for Electrical Service.

I'm not sure exactly what the difference is, but that's definitely looking like a house in the woods to me.

Good job, wish I could do something like that.

I'll get a couple of pictures, and add to your post after the weekend, when I get back out there. Sorry I just missed your response in the thread, until today when I saw it back on the first page. Your place is looking awesome, hope you enjoy it as much as you can. I'm currently working on getting my house cleaned up, and finish a bathroom remodel so I can sell, and move out to the Amelia area. just tired of paying Chesterfields taxes, for nothing in return, and would much rather have more land space, and a smaller house so I can do what I want on my own property.
