Not sure what's better, your hi-point and plastic butter knife EDC or the fact that Round Eye Supply is an actual thing. Asian imported plastic cutlery for the discriminating round eye.

I love Hi-point when it comes to cheap ammo wasters. They shoot pretty smooth and consistent with regard to accuracy, but there is no way in hell I'm trusting any of their guns to save my life.

Don't get me wrong. I know that no company is perfect. Guns will fail, rounds will not fire and there will be unplanned problem. That is the case with every brand. But everyone I know personally who owns a Hi-point has had FTF and DNF problems regularly. Not enough to say the gun is damage, but enough that I would say its a poor design and not reliable.

I think it's that whole "get what you pay for" mentality for me.
