This is the closest I have ever seen any of the race hustlers come to admitting black-on-white crime is racially motivated. This quote was attributed to Al Sharpton on a recent weekly address:

“This kind of behavior is deplorable and must be condemned by all us,” he said at his weekly National Action Network meeting in Harlem. “We would not be silent if it was the other way around. We cannot be silent or in any way reluctant to confront it when it is coming from our own community. Kids are randomly knocking out people [from] another race — some specifically going at Jewish people,” he said. “This kind of insane thuggery — there is nothing cute about that. There is no game play about knocking somebody out, and it is not a game. It is an assault and is bias, and it is wrong.”

'Bout freaking time. He, and the others still have a very long way to go, but it's a start.

What was that? Did I hear the weather man right? Hell has just froze over!! I am glad I am sitting down after reading this. Please post the link from which the quote came from so I can read it for myself (not that I don't believe you) It is just that I am having a hard time believing that he would say this.

I'm hearing rumors out there of groups gearing up to bait these urban youts. Interesting times may be ahead.

Rightly or wrongly a "Knock Out" has always been glorified over the years as a measure of a man's machismo. Boxing, street fighting, kung fu, and now MMA, by whatever method a knock out, either as a defensive or offensive move, has always been seen as a splendid example of a persons martial skills. These kids see the steady stream of MMA high lights and think just like I did watching Bruce Lee movies in the 70's, that this is something that I aspired to do. The difference is that back then we went to a dojo "paid" our "dues" $ and we got to get our "thrills" out "fairly and courageously" along with occasionally getting our own asses beat. We learned, earned, and achieved. Today the key differences between now and then can be sumed up in the words, "paid", "thrills", and "fair". Todays thugs are basically broke cowards looking for free highs. A "thrill" is only a thrill if you get away scottfree with it, and "fair" is only when it's one against a group and winable. When jumped by a gang, even if you did manage to pull off a one punch knock out on the one thug you were facing off against, the next 3 or 5 would jump in and make it a "fair" fight. Fair is only fair when they win or you flat out lose. Fairness implies morals of which they have none. Four or five juvies beating down a 70 y/o grandmother... is a "thrill". Each one getting in several good licks and kicks while she's down....fairness. Video footage taken of their prowess on their free Obama phones let them relive their fanicful moments of grandeur. Spending good money to put on gloves and pads and go toe to toe, one on one, against 15 to 30 various sized and skilled opponents would be insanity. Why? when they have the knock out game and can instantly become MMA and video stars for free. If more of these "father's" were playing the knock out game with these thugs when younger instead of being thugs themselves they might not be acting this way.

Your only flaw is assuming they have fathers... or anyone who could fit the suit and actually gives a damn.

They might stop if you pay them enough reparations for slavery.

Until it was all spent. Then it would be on to the next gravy train.

Honestly, I agree that we have paid for years with welfare and such, but more to the point, f-them. Move on, they were never slaves. Eventually you have to pick up and move on.

Slavery was legally abolished via the ratification of the 13th Amendment in 1865. No one alive today knows anyone who was a slave. The last known American slave is thought to be Eliza Moore who died in 1948. Even if anyone alive today meet Eliza, they were either so young or are so old that they don't remember.

And, Eliza was born in 1863, just before Lincoln made the declaration. Being an infant as a slave and freed before age 1 hardly counts since there was zero experience.

Yes, those who bitch about slavery need to let it go. 150+ year old multi-generational grudge it too much.

A couple’s late night stroll on the Christmas-lit Downtown Mall turned to terror in the early morning hours of Friday, December 20, when they were brutally assaulted by three men in what appears to have been a random act of violence.

Even though one of the victims, Jeanne Doucette, managed to take photos that appear to show the assailants as they kicked and pummeled her boyfriend Marc Adams to unconsciousness, Charlottesville Police still do not have any suspects. Doucette says there were other witnesses to the crime, which allegedly occurred just outside the Wells Fargo building at around 1am as she and Adams walked from Miller’s to Rapture, and she is baffled as to why the police haven’t shared her images more widely with people who could have seen the suspects earlier in the evening.

'Zackly. They need to forget about what happened 150, 100 or even 50 years ago and get on with being a mainstream, productive American. Their forebearers may have been removed from Africa, but they have had the great advantage of being a citizen of this country with the full measure of rights, privileges, entitlements and relative riches that ONLY Americans enjoy - whatever their skin color. Or if they just can't get over their ancestors having been ripped away from their homes and they just can't get over it, we should, as a last measure of reparations, repatriate them to Africa on condition they never return. So tell 'em to choose, and then shut up and live with it just like the rest of us.
