Actually, a good friend, with whom I do most of my shooting, has shown up in full tactical gear covered in guns and knives. My wife takes it well, just asks that he not enter the house like that. I try to go over to his place where the entire house is usually full of guns, knives or guitars; usually all at the same time.

The issue of firearms at my house is a touchy one, but one I try my hardest to compromise on with her. Shes a good mom and guns aren't the only thing in our lives that we have to deal with.

Borrow your friend's tactical gear and take a picture of yourself. That, and a little Photoshop time, would make an awesome additional to the family Christmas card photo
