I dont think they neccessarily have to be clamped. Looks like he does it do get maximum exposure of the lead surface. I would think maybe commercial operations have a special rack where they are automatically loaded with bullets then submersed into the electrolyte solution. If you have a vat large enough you could stack up quite a few. I'm not sure about maximum capacity of bullets where you might see the reaction diminished. If I remember my chemistry that shouldnt matter as long as you have the right balance of electrolytes, the proper current, and clean copper to produce ions.Palladin wrote:Yup, it appears labor intensive, but very interesting.
