Here I'll use smaller words so you can understand better.
10 years.
Cairo has 18 million people.
15 million of them are Muslims.
Surrounded on all sides by...Muslims!
Even the guy selling food was....Muslim!
No problems.
Odds would say 15 million people who wanted to subjugate or expressed intolerance towards me I would be dead or in jail or something right? But, oddly enough.....no way....nothing happened. So how did you survive being surrounded by 20 million Muslims?
Like I said, I'm glad you had a nice time and things went well. It's all still anecdotal and offers nothing that could be objectively seen as evidence, whereas my point of view is supported by Islam's very words and its adherent's actions.
Neither of us has persuaded the other and we seem to be at an impasse. Can we go beat a different dead horse for a while?

I don't take it personally, you've got your opinions and I've got mine. Now on to the next dead horse, pending there is another larger dead horse to beat. I stand about 5'5 and have a short persons complex. So you can understand that the horse has to be big enough for me to prove a point by beating it.

So far I have not seen/read on the news about
American civilians hijacking planes from muslim countries and crashing them into buildings full o people.
American civilians beheading muslim people and posting it o the internet and bragging about it.
American civilians blowing up themselves and crowds of muslims in malls or market squares.
American civilians setting off bombs in areas crowded with muslims.
etc, etc, etc.
Ignore histoy, ignore the obvious, sooner or later it will bite you or someone you care about. Some people just refuse to believe hitting your finger with a hammer will hurt -till it happens. Even then, some of them want to blame the hammer for being hard instead of themselves for refusing to recognize the nature of the hammer and their inattentiveness to its capabilities.

Okay Round 2 here we go.
M1A4Me,
Okay, I think again you missed the entire front end of the conversation. .
American Civilians don't do a lot of that stuff, but when they do, we call them criminals don't we? Better yet, when a Christian man murders his family, he's a murderer right? But we know he doesn't represent 2.2 Billion people because he is a madman because we know that 2.2 Billion people are generally peaceful and couldn't harbor such insane violence. But when a Muslim does it, we call him a criminal, but suddenly he has come to represent the population of 1 and a half billion people around the globe because they share the same religion. Yet if you ask those people who carry on their lives, go to work just like you and I, they will also call that man a madman. The Klu Klux Klan does not represent Christians around the globe and militant jihadists do not represent Islam.
Does every Muslim around the globe set off bombs in market places? No. Does he fly airplanes into buildings? No. Behead people? No. If that was the business of 1.5 Billion people, the globe would look a lot different my friend. That is the business of terrorists.
Regardless, I have a M1A and it is by far my favorite rifle, when buying 308 isn't like buying gold bricks.

Christ never encouraged anyone to kill those that disagreed with Him.
Mohammed, I believe, did.

No, my point was that something about their religion, or their environment, or their upbringing results in some of them traveling to a far off place to kill other people = and they think its a good thing. So far, the Christian religion, the environment and upbringing here is not resulting in Americans traveling to the middle east with the purpose of killing large numbers of muslim civilians with terrorist tactics.
If they object so strongly to American troops being in their countries then fight the American troops on their home ground.
I won't say I agree with what our government has done, is doing in the middle east. I really believe that if we stayed home they'd continue to kill each other (one religious faction against another) as they have done for hundreds/thousands of years. We can't change their religion/environment/upbringing by sending our troops over there.
I vote to leave them alone, as long as they leave us alone. That's how I define "tolerance".
