Shopping at Walmart is practically as bad voting for Obama. I get local dealers to order things for me and they can usually beat or match the best price I can find online.

It's because sometimes it bulk and sometimes it's a Walmart version that's of lower quality. That wouldn't be a problem if they were more forthcoming about it being a Walmart version and not equivalent to what is being sold elsewhere. e.g. the savage 22 without an accutrigger.Vince wrote:It's plain and simple, Walmart buys bulk. That equals a better price for the buyer, not sure why anyone even cares?
But would it still be worth it to buy from Wally World and than buy a new trigger? Just asking as I have no idea how much the accutriggers are running.gunderwood wrote:It's because sometimes it bulk and sometimes it's a Walmart version that's of lower quality. Maybe. The key is that we as the consumer are hard pressed to know when we are buying the same item as sold elsewhere or something that is marketed/labeled as the same, but isn't.Vince wrote:But would it still be worth it to buy from Wally World and than buy a new trigger? This is where checking part numbers can be critical when buying a gun, along with a thorough inspection of it before buying. I once bought a ban state compliant pistol that had a magazine disconnect, and an internal lock because I wasn't paying attention. I wound up having to change $50 worth of internal parts to remove those nanny features.gunderwood wrote:Maybe. Dude! Yer supposed to set yer cart at ramming speed and make a sound like a stream train whistle!dorminWS wrote: Oh, I don't blame them for walking gun purchasers to the door. Otherwise, you might go stark raving crazy and shoot a herd of them fat women that seem to congregate where 2 main aisles come together and stare up into space waiting you you to butt-rub by them to get out of the store. Perfectly reasonable precaution.
