The real problem is racism. Yep, racism. "what the hell Purdune?" Here me out, for thousands of years the Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans have hated each other. Deep, deep hatred. Right now the Chinese have no reason to let NK be some what of a workers paradise. Matter of fact they rather like all the death and misery in NK.
What we need is John R Bolton to be made Secretary of State. Bolton would call out the Chinese on this and they would know he has the "walnuts" to back up his words. With the right advertising campaign here and in Europe you might be able to get people to curb there purchasing of cheap Chinese crap.

I am a huge fan of political assassinations. Why let men die by the thousands when one man from a mile and a half away can compensate for earth rotation, cross-winds, and curvature of the earth in his head as he is sighting in and pulling the trigger? It just makes sense.

So South Korea and all the electronics you use won't be missed, eh? Ever hear of a little company called Samsung?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung
Let's see my tv is made by vizio, my game console is M$, my pc I built. I don't buy crap and all the crap is made in korea! So yeah I won't miss them.
Except Samsung makes many of the parts in them because they own the fabs. For example, the iphone processor is an Apple design, but a Samsung build.

Nice thought but would never bring down NK. There is an infrastructure in place and a lot more then 1 person has a stake in NK surviving as is. They would get together and figure out the next state god.

I was always bullied in school as a kid. I was tall and looked 10 years older than I really was. Every jerk who thought he was tough would get a couple of his friends and they would come push me around, punch me, knock me on the ground, etc. I felt like there was nothing I could do about it because I was always out numbered and couldn't fight back.
One day, I found out where one of the bullies lived. I broke into his house in the middle of the night through his bedroom window and beat his butt with a baseball bat while he was sleeping. Before I left the house, I told him if him or anyone else ever bothered Spaz again, I would pay him another visit.
I was never bothered by any bullies ever again. That kid never came back to my school.
It is possible to stop these people. You just have to have the right plan of action and the balls to execute it.

I didn't say they couldn't be brought down. Just won't happen with one bullet through one head. Might start WWI but even then the Austrian government was still the same till after the war. Plenty of people in the hierarchy that would take the lead. That's the way he, father, and grandfather stayed in power.
Now I would agree that one nuke, one city would bring it all to an end but you'd probably just have China come screaming across the border to set up a new hard core, god regime. Once again I contend the problem is with China not NK.

Reminds me of what an oldtimer once said about Fidel Castro. Said there weren't nothin' wrong with him except he was a little out of balance, and that caused his thinking to tilt too far to the left. He went on to surmise that could be cured simply enough by inserting a small lead weight behind his right ear - with a .357 magnum.

I hate to say it but I called it, North Korea scraped the armistice which means we are a few bullets or a missle away from another war.

It's too bad that the Navy's top Admiral in the Pacific is more concerned with global warming.
