Good on ya tursiops! I may as well be a fish myself so that was gonna be part of my plan for today. I was gonna take the kiddo to the pool (it's like 85 here, sorry fellas) but the water was still a tad too cold to stay in for anymore than 5 minutes. I want to get my wife into scuba diving but she's freakish about the ocean and hates anything that may reside in it and not currently dead on a plate haha.tursiops wrote:On my 31st birthday (four decades ago) I had a squash match with a guy I really wanted to beat. i got there late, didn't warm up, twisted for a shot in the corner, and my life was pain and uncertainty for about twenty years. Then I started swimming and scuba diving -- lots -- and have not had a single "attack" for two decades. I'm 71, still swim, still scuba dive (with two steel tanks on my back, in caves!), can sometimes tell that my back used to hurt really bad, but not once in the last 20 years have i had a problem. In my view, strengthening and continuing to use those lower back muscles is the key...even just walking is good. Stay away from sharp jolts, keep stretching and strengthening. Good luck. Oh yeah, and stay away from chiropractors...went to one once (on advice of a friend) and the only thing worse than how he hurt me was that I then had to pay him for it.
