Was there mention of a range near by and some target shooting afterwards? Is that happening?
I had thought about it... Actually, my gun club is having an Open House that day, so it might be a good day to head out there after the picnic. We'll have to play it by ear. It's about a 45 minute drive from the picnic to the gun club. If we finish up the picnic by 3pm and get cleaned up, maybe we can fit it in if a few people are interested.

Hi allingeneral
I will not be able to attend the picnic. I'm sorry I have to miss it but I hope there will be other gatherings in the future. Thanks for the invitation. Hope the picnic is a big success.

It has just been brought to my attention that the VSSA is having their annual gathering in Fredericksburg on the same day, Sep 26th! I hope this doesn't conflict with anyone attending the VGOF picnic

Well, there are 2+ weeks to pump this up. 15 or so is good but 40 would be much gooder.

That's a great offer, Rick!! And most generous...
I'll come ready to shoot but will defer to Young once we finish clean-up. Can we do muzzle loader? Any weapons or ammo unacceptable? Other details folks might need to know to be prepared if you decide to go?

Anything .50 Cal and below is ok.
No fully automatics.
No incendiary rounds.
Muzzle loaders ok.
Be sure to bring eyes and ears - and targets - and ammo.

Hey Rick,
Reference your E-mail, "If you don't like what
you get, maybe you can sell or trade it on the spot."
I can't imagine not liking any of the above shown prizes. That is an awesome selection. Hope to win one.
I'll be there.
Can"t wait to meet everyone.

Looks like my wife and I will be there. We will probably be bringing 2 friends also.
Is there a list of what people are bringing? Or what is needed?

Sounds like fun, but we have a ATV trip planned for that weekend. Please keep me informed of any other events though.
Thanks
