Ok! I am the old man here. I was 22 years old and had just gotten back from south east asia and discharged from the service on Dec. 31st.1968 and sworn in to the Atlantic City N.J. Police Department 12 day's later on Jan.12,1969 But unlike most of y'all I am RETIRED and loveing it.

Hurricane Camille, oof, forgot that was when that witch swept through. I was in Lafayette, LA stationed at the end of our street with a shotgun (Ithaca Feather weight 16ga pump) keeping lookey-loos off the street! They were creating wakes that were washing into the homes that has escaped the initial flood! My dad was stationed at the other end. If you didn't live on the street, we didn't let them in. If they did, and we didn't know them, we checked their ID and let them in. I had a cop pull up and ask me what I thought I was doing standing out in the middle of the street with my loaded shotgun and I told him. He said "good job" and drove off never getting out of his car during the whole event.

Senior in college stranded on the New York Thruway tring to get to some dopey place a friend of mine said was called Woohhole or Stockwood or something. Didn't see too many other jocks stranded with us.

I was 4 so I can't tell you much about it. I am fond of the music though.

Initially I was going to post that I wasn't even a gleam in someone's eye yet, but that's not quite true. Dad was stationed in Germany, and the concert was about 4 months before my parents got married. About 7 months before my arrival. So I guess I can say I was in Germany.
