This stuff has to be nipped in the bud,,,It's just more hand outs to accomadate supidity and laziness, Makes the "You owes us" mentallity even worse,To even think of using a program like this is unconstitutional IMHO. Stopping it won't be easy now that VA leaned towards the Obama BS trough again...Sickening that this state did that...Gotta feeling though, a lot of people either didn't vote or voted for big ears and won;t admit it....

I flatly blame "Carpetbaggers", and "Transplants". Until we started pulling others from other states, we didn't have an issue with this state being DEEP RED....

Now? You have yankees who are escaping high taxes in the North East, and Californians that , God bless 'em, are trying to just escape.

However when you're raised in a different culture, and you're unwilling to accept the culture in which you have chosen. You never truly lay down roots, you just kinda piss off the locals.

And yes, it pisses off the locals that people come from other states, and start telling us that we're "backwoods", or "rednecks", or flat out "stupid".

It's a micro-version of the "ugly american".

Theres a reason enormous amounts of welfare and aid flow into Africa, despite its massive natural resources no? They're incapable of taking care of themselves, naturally the aid only makes them more dependent and subsidizes their entire existence.

I don't think race has much to do about black and latinos scoring bad. It is how they are raised and to an extent language barriers. If you were raised by stupid people you tend to be stupid. It you are raised by hard workers, you tend to be a hard worker.

As far as Africa....the Europeans left Africa messed up. If they would have a few good HONEST leaders....things would shape up. As is it is like the middle east as long as the big foreign governments want to mess around with it to maximize our profits....it will be a war zone with dictators who steal from the population.

Just... I really don't know what to say, other than grading by race is astronomically retarded and racist. Talk about putting the lesser races in their place. I guess it is genetically best be Asian. It might be harder, but us "Asians" (as my husband likes to quip) will keep getting smarter.

Being a Teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools. I teach adults and teens, however, I have great examples of people (Grown people who could not follow a direction to save their lives). I tell them to make this, and bring this to the next class so we can work on something. They do not follow instructions, 5 weeks in to a 7 week class and they tell me they still cannot find the recipe (I shake my head in wonder when I see that they just don't understand why their product is not coming out the right way. Maybe cause you did not follow the instructions). The one that I included on the syllabus.

People are stupid, they let themselves be stupid. I have examples of students who don't even try, and look at me saying I can't do it, can you do it for me. I tell them no. I am not going to do that. You came here to learn, you will get out of this class how much effort you put into it.

My biggest peeve lately is they will miss a class and expect me to completely teach them what they missed. They will ask what did I miss, when it is again on the syllabus, and I will explain you missed X they will lament and say "ohhh that sucks, I wanted to learn that". If I have time in the class I am nice and will teach them a quick and dirty run down of the class they missed, if I don't, then tough sh&t.

My question is, what are they going to do with my kids. They are 3/4 White, and 1/4 Japanese. They going to hold that 1/4 to higher standards than the 3/4's. Maybe they are just white enough to be WHITE.

With mixed kids in general, if your half Black half White, how will they grade you?

Everyone excepting those that are mentally retarded, have Autisim etc, should be graded and held to the same standards.
