Jake: which college?
I'd rather not mention the specific college but rest assured I'm not in volition of any law.

Scrubber here is a news story to further substantiate my claims on glove box carry.

get a lawyer and you'll have a chance to get it knocked down to simple speeding vs class 1 misdemeanor speeding.

you don't want criminal speeding on your record.
No he didn't write it as reckless it was right before the road goes to a 45 so thus the reason I was so high over. Normally I keep it out of the reckless. Iconicly a friend was with me and has had the exact same ticket as well(21 over). She took driving class and it was dropped from her record. The officer indicated that the same was likely to happen here as well.
care to share what he did cite? just curious...

Seems as though I was looking at a pre-2010 law book PDF.

Carry on......

Other than the rhetorical state police background check, VA has a much less stringent grip on firearm carry/ laws than NC. With the knowledge that a person without a CHP can legally carry a firearm in the glovebox, it's a wonder they even make anyone get a CHP here. May as well do away with them and we can be like AZ. Who by the way have the best gun laws in America. That's right, they don't even need a CHP to carry concealed according to my brother who moved to Mesa this summer.
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

§ 46.2-875 wrote:Maximum speed limit on certain other highways in cities and towns.

The maximum speed limit shall be 35 miles per hour on highways in any city or town, except on interstate or other limited access highways with divided roadways and in business or residence districts. However, municipalities that maintain their own roads may increase or decrease speed limits on highways over which they have jurisdiction following appropriate traffic engineering investigation.
This is obviously within the jurisdiction of the municipality. Jake, shame on you for setting your own speed limit. :hysterical:
