Thanks, I did some more research and you are correct. legal for private sale 18-20 as long as both are Va residents. There's also a difference between the concepts of purchase and ownership and those of possession and transfer, but since a lot of FFLs can't keep those concepts straight, it'd probably be a pointless conversation.
