Wait till all those cheering "free health care" are forced to buy mandated insurance or fined...er a... taxed.

We have been swindled into the biggest tax since the beginning of time.

Obama's 16K new IRS brownshirts are waiting in the wings....

Join the TEA party.

We MUST kick these Chicago mobsters OUT of our government!

It's not about healthcare, it's about governments control of every facet of our lives.

I'm done.

Sold everything, not buying anything of value, going away. I'm done. If they can take your property (Kelo vs CT), and make you buy things (This decisions), spy on your finances (PATRIOT act), and your property (Drones), and interject into every aspect of your world.

Make yourself invisible, and just fade away.

When you get pulled over in the future.... "May I see your license, registration and healthcare card?"

Knock, Knock on your door..."We sorry, Mr. American, but when you passed through your weight scale at work yesterday.... it registered that you gained 2 pounds more than We think you should have... We have a special FEMA workout camp for you to attend until such time as We believe you can properly manage yourself again.... Please follow these nice attendees pointed their M-16s at you."

Mrs. Smith walks into the Medical Life Review Board...."We have determined that you are only worth $102,684 to society and you have used $95,000 in Medical Services... you have been deemed "Medically Unfit" and will be sent to the green room. Please enjoy the movie of how the World used to look like as you drink the green liquid and pass on to the next stage of your existence."

I start to think I made a mistake in my believe that Constitution still means something in America, and moving here. I am looking for my next move. Any idea?

CJ Roberts Opinion, pg 6:

“It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.”

Roberts is a traitorous sonofabitch. Dubya's Folly is his new nickname.

That was the job of the constitution and it was his job by proxy to tell the congress that this was far beyond the pale. GRRRRRRRR!

And in realityville that will never happen because Obamacare was the furthest possiblt thing from government cotrol of healthcare. It relly only prolongs the current byzantine nodgepodge we hve now, except you must buy insarance.

Agree. It does not change nothing in good; it will not make existing insurances cheaper, it will not make services cheaper, but now you have to pay a tax for the simple fact that you exist. Soon a new carbon tax for the fact that you dare to breathe.

I am sure people in China 30 years ago never ever thought that their gov't would be dragging 9 month pregnant women into hospitals, ripping the babies out of them, killing the babies, then butchering the woman by taking out their reproductive organs all by force. But it is happening every day there. Things happen incrementally.

I'm sorry, but Obamacare was never about government control of healthcare. Its another giant ass subsidy to take money from us(in the form of the subsidies most Americans will be getting to buy it) and send it elsewhere...health insurance company coffers this time.

To elaborate further on the first sentence all non veterans affairs hospitals will still be privatey owned and operated with a staff that answers to the hospital not the fed-gov.

This law is really overblown, the tax will affect something like 6% of Americans IIRC since most are already covered through work or medicare/medicaid.

Its not as ig a deal as say, switching to single payer wouldve been. Now that woulda been a seismic change.

Maybe its the bourbon and percocet talking but all this helathcare talk is starting to bore me. i deal with this crap in my job enough s it is.

edit: if you wanna see a real possible seismic shift coming up, see if the Obamaniator refuses to back down on mandating abortifacients and cotraceptives for catholic institutions and the Catholic bishops make good on their threat to shutter their hospitals and clinics it will leave a huge vacuum in the system that can't be filled quickly.

I don't agree with his decision but, what he said was basically "It's a TAX, and it's not my job to shield you from your own stupid political decisions at the ballot box."

Don't be stupid friends....

Vote these chicago mobster political hacK commies OUT!

The president YOU voted for himself says it's the start of a 10 year road to a single payer system!

Don't lie with him and claim it's for the insurance companies!

Reason also says that when it's fully government controlled YOUR coding rates will be through the floor!

NO ONE is immune from this loss of freedom! Especially those making money off Obabacare like you!

I couldn't care any less about OBAMACARE, or it's repeal...or anything of that ilk.

The big picture is being missed. "THE GOVERNMENT JUST MANDATED THAT YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING SIMPLY TO LIVE!"

If I don't drive a car? I don't pay insurance.
Homeless? No property taxes.
No job? No income taxes.
Grow food on public property? No taxes on groceries...

But to SIMPLY PULL IN A BREATH, you have to either have HEALTH INSURANCE, or PAY A FINE!

Do you see the big picture now? MANDATES TO AN INDIVIDUAL CHOICE HAVE BEEN LEVIED!!! It's a hugely dangerous precedent... and liberty dies with thunderous applause.

Individual choice is only important to dems in congress if someone gets to die......(abortion or right to die/euthanasia)
