best to submit the paperwork, not even track the time, and get a nice gift when your SOT dealer calls!

So the new eForms system is up and running (mostly, when it isn't down for several days at a time). We are seeing improvement in Form 2 and 3 times as we, the manufacturers and dealers, now do all the manual data entry. Speaking of data entry, that is the real issue now with Form 4s. There just aren't enough monkeys moving info from the towers of paper in Martinsburg into the system fast enough. With the new push to eForm, dealers will help shorten the cycle.

Right now, paper forms from January are clearing.

My last Form 3 (out of state dealer to in state dealer) took ~8 months (12/12 to 8/13). No idea when the various Form 1 & 4s will ever get approved.

It sounds like a real mess lately... and part of me thinks the guys in wv really don't care how long you have to wait

I just used ATFonline and it was easy and quick to submit the form 1. We'll see how it goes!
