The Aimpoint PRO is a great deal, with a four year constant on battery life. PRO = Patrol Rifle Optic. You can find them for around $400 if you look around.

Yes definitely get the Aimpoint PRO. It's an optic and mount for ~$450 and can't be beat. Leave it on and change the battery every presidential election. Hangs tougher than the competition as well.
