I did, its slightly less...uh, "diverse" than Norfolk actually....by about 4%.
you should check the history behind Durham as well.... A lot of the diverse population there doesn't "exist" to the census bureau as they don't respond to the paperwork.
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

Next time, tell him:

"I sure am afraid you'll kill me. That's why I'm going to shoot your @ss if you don't run."

BECAUSE:
(1) If you've got any sense, it's the truth, and
(2) It delivers exactly the right message to your protagonist, and
(3) It builds your case for self-defense if you are later quoted by a witness, and
(4) It's almost as cool as what you said.

FROM THE LINKED ARTICLE:
"Forster and Rostami were victims of what police described as a simple assault, and, initially, they did not want to be named in a news story. If these were the circumstances with anyone in the community, we would not have done a story."
...........................
REALLY? Anyone who doesn't want to be deemed "newsworthy" can just request that no story be written and the request will be honored by this newspaper?

Folks, as an old country boy, I know what fertilizer looks and smells like, and this here ain't just fertilizer, it's PURE BULLSH!T.

Durham still has a decent number of housing projects like the ones off of Old Oxford Highway and several others dotting the city. Crime rates are very high in the areas that these projects are near. Also, Duke University has a number of naive freshmen come in every year who provide easy robbery targets for the criminals in the surrounding area.

Does anyone else think it's unusual that when a white guy does something to anyone with a nonwhite background it's "Hate Crimes", but if anyone with a nonwhite background makes BLATANT racial statements during a crime it's "simple assault"?

Just me, but that seems uneven. How about removing "hate crimes" from any crime, and punish everyone ACCORDINGLY!?

Where's Ken Cuccinelli? He ought to be investigating the Nawfuk cops.

That doesn't fit the "kill whitey-seriously, its open season" agenda though.

Can't wait until this place looks like modern post-Apartheid paradise of diversity Südafrika. Or even better, the former Rhodesia.
