I know that I found the site through Google. As much as I loathe the Google people, they still have the best search engine.
I found this site the day that I bought my first gun, browsed through a few threads, then promptly joined. I believe that one of the wisest things that I've done as a gun owner is join this site; wisdom is abundant, here. I also enjoy the mature (for the most part, lol) discussions here.
I am not sure what I was looking for on Google, though. Probably "Gun Forums".

Re: How did you discover VGOF?
Google "Virginia Gun Forum" and I found it. Really didn't post or stop by much until I was sucked in by the first shoot and meet!

Stumbled on it doing a primer search during the NRA Salesman of the Year induced ammo dearth of 2009.
I found my primers! Thanks Rick, for my one stop shop for all things gun related in VA.

Now is the time for all good men to get off their rusty dustys...

Found the site when researching VA gun laws and VA gun owner forums. Thankfully, I found VGOF!

Actually by using a search engine looking for gun stores in Virginia. Plus also to see what kind of stuff I can get from people once we finally move there.

I got a VGOF sticker when I purchased my G30 last week from SSG Tactical. Logged on and joined. Glad I did as this forum is very informative and is laid out in good manner.
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.
