Glad to hear you finally tied the knot with your 700 PSS. Now it just comes down to learning what it likes to shoot and where it hits at what distances. That's the fun part that I call the honeymoon. Both my factory standard Remington rifles shoot good (better than an inch and a half groups at 100y) with standard Remington, Federal, and Winchester ammunition. I have an old model 788 that is phenomenal with premium ammunition. If you shoot premium ammunition I think your customized sniper rifle should hold extemely tight groups from the bench. Have fun at the ranges!

What range are you looking to go to? Are you going to be able to stretch it out to at least 250 yards?

I am located near Manassas so just give me a yell if you want to go shoot sometime. There are quite a few of us that are from the NOVA area.

I like to use the free Phelps Wildlife Management Area 100 yard range. It's located off Route 17 about halfway between Fredericksburg and Warrenton. You do need a current state sportsman's license to use it for free and I think they close down for the spring and summer at the end of this month.

You are never completely broke if you got good coffee and a Remington 700 PSS sniper rifle. :coffee:

I love shooting, just right now.. Unemployment is no fun.. Though if I see a deal like this I had to spend the money.. Once I get a new job my, my buns are off to the range..

If it wasn't 50yds, and the scope was actually set to 50yds, and if the time we shot it wasn't the last second ( we were shooting 4 others ) I would say it would nearly punch the same hole every time. VERY VERY awesome rifle.. Loving the new toy ;)
