Pssst! Don't look now but you seem to be equally ignorant of all religion!

SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I would love a "kool" aide to assist me in my daily activities, it would be most helpful.

And no, I do not believe I am ignorant of all religion, as I was not wrong at all.

But, to expect any understanding of theology from a self-described "christian Zionist", is probably a reach. Re-purposed British Israelism for American ignorance cannot possibly be expected to be anything other than the gutter idiocy it is. It claims you as an adherent does it not?

In his (January 29th-Kreutz)2002 State of the Union Address, Bush called North Korea "a regime arming with missiles and weapons of mass destruction, while starving its citizens."[1] He also stated Iran "aggressively pursues these weapons and exports terror, while an unelected few repress the Iranian people's hope for freedom."[1] Of the three nations Bush cited, however, he gave the most criticism to Iraq.[1]

August 2002: A spokesman for the MEK terrorist group holds a press conference to "expose" two nuclear facilities in Natanz and Arak that they claim to have discovered. However, the sites were already known to U.S. intelligence. Furthermore, under the terms of Iran's then-existing safeguards agreement with the IAEA, Iran was under no obligation to disclose the facilities while they were still under construction and not yet within the 180-day time limit specified by the safeguards agreement.

Iran initially constructed in secret its gas centrifuge uranium enrichment plant at Natanz and a heavy water production plant at Arak. The existence of these major facilities was revealed in 2002, and they are under International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspections.
Iran has had peaceful nuclear program for decades, it appears they started to weaponize around 2002...for some reason.
(Fixed your quotes while i was at it, I believe you attributed one of your own quotes to someone else...)

While there is a correlation, you've not made a case for causation...You've put two dots on the map, but you haven't actually tied them together with anything other than a generalization of the time of the incidents you're quoting. it's also quite possible (and much more likely) that the preperations for a weaponized nuclear regime were recognized by the intelligence folks years before those facilities were "revealed", thus creating a causal relationsip between them asking around/purchasing/sneaking the parts into their country to build these weaponized nuclear facilities and them being labeled one of the "axis of evil". You don't spring up a facility like that overnight without some planning....

Actually, for the third time, NO ONE in this thread wants them to get a nuke. The whole thread is about discussing how current or alternative foreign policies may prevent them, or at least not assist them, in getting the nuke. You continue to not provide one single argument for you positions other than dude their crazy! I deem thee an ideologue.

Yes, but I'm inclined to believe the simplest answer is the correct one. I'll get to this in a second.
it's also quite possible (and much more likely) that the preperations for a weaponized nuclear regime were recognized by the intelligence folks years before those facilities were "revealed", thus creating a causal relationsip between them asking around/purchasing/sneaking the parts into their country to build these weaponized nuclear facilities and them being labeled one of the "axis of evil". Yes, this is right. And in reference to the above, I didn't really touch upon it, but Iran has had a nuclear program literally for decades. US supplied might I add, similarly to how we gave Saddam chemical weapons to use against the Iranians, but I digress.

It is as you say true the weaponizing of uranium became public shortly after the Axis of Evil speech, and while that's not proof positive of causality, its interesting that the Iranians leaked it about that time.

I assume (not necessarily correctly) this was a purposeful propaganda deterrent to the "writing on the wall" as it was in light of the Bush era foreign policy (liberation through bombardment). I really believe they thought they were next and began rapidly weaponizing uranium as a nuclear deterrent.

As I've said a few times now this has had the total opposite effect and Iran is facing attack as a result of its nuclear program, and as I've said a few times I just hope the civilian casualties are light.

HMMMMMM

How to say "it's bushes fault" in 90 words or less and be dismissive of original thought at the same time.

So what's next "we made them do it"?

Nevermind!

Ratherfish,

I applaud your conservative viewpoints. However, if you wish to be taken seriously, I strongly suggest that you rethink your strategy.

One gets the impression that you consider yourself a Christian Conservative. But, what I can't figure out, is how the Love of Christ is supposed to be seen through you, when you are antagonizing Kreutz, Gunderwood, and others.

Since you got here, I've seen you exemplify virtually every complaint I hear against both Christians and Conservatives.

We are a pretty tolerant group, over here. We've united under the banner of the Second Amendment, and while we are here, we have intelligent discussions over any issue. With a group the size of this one, there will almost always be an opposing viewpoint. And you know what? That's OK. Things would get pretty damn boring if every single one of us agreed on every single detail.

Up until I read the post in which you stated that you served in Vietnam (which I greatly appreciate, by the way... just as much as I appreciate that Kreutz served), I assumed you to be a high school student. In your first post, you ranted that you were expelled from another site for your views on Ron Paul. I submit that your views were not the problem. My friend, what they apparently grew tired of, was your PRESENTATION of those views. And, with time, I suspect that the powers that be, over here, will also grow tired of the mockery and general disrespect that you have displayed, thus far.

The following link will take you to George Washington's Rules of Civility & Decent Behavior. I suggest that you read them, and take them to heart, before posting further.

http://www.foundationsmag.com/civility.html

The first rule is "Every Action done in Company, ought to be with Some Sign of Respect, to those that are Present."

Rule 79 is also worth noting; "Be not apt to relate News if you know not the truth thereof. In Discoursing of things you Have heard Name not your Author always A Secret Discover not."

@ SHMIV,

I can't argue, and pretty much agree with what you've said, but on the positive side, ratherfish has been doing the rest of us a favor by keeping Gat6 and gunderwood occupied and doing those two a favor by giving them someone to rant at. Been real peaceful around here as long as you stay off this thread.

Can't I be a Christian and a crotchity old warmongering, saber rattling, uneducated, bible and gun clutching, conservative at the same time? What fun is that....LOL

I suggest you lighten up a bit there SHMIV! A thick skin and a soft heart might work a bit better rather than dictating others behavior.

Seems no one demands civility of the little clutch of liberal nare-do-wells stuck in their "it's bushes fault" mentality. Frankly the huff po, media matters Obama applause lines that are regurgitated here bore the living hadies out of me. We have a President who lies wall to wall. We have liberal puppets who seem to think it their duty to parrot those lies in every conservative forum on the net.......unapposed!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW- Back at you dorminWS!!
I salute you proud conservative warriors beating back the progressive hordes :first:

All good men should be playing wack-a-mole with the progressive liberal left where ever their rodent heads pop up in cyber land.....It's been their domain unapposed for far too long!
The socialism they're selling has murdered millions and starved hundreds of millions throughout the world. Are they simple enough to think they can sell it to Americans?

Obama thinks we're stupid. His parrots repeat his lies night and day.

Most would consider the two incompatible. A religious warmongerer? What are you, a MUSLIM!??!?!

Yeah, they're called politicians, they all do that. Design error.

This isn't really a conservative forum IMO, it seems to trend towards libertarianism to me.

Didn't you yourself make some asinine "arguing with a liberal is like"? thread, chock full of, uh....witty anecdotes explaining the uselessness of arguing with said liberals?

So what the hell is the point of "playing wack-a-mole with the progressive liberal left where ever their rodent heads pop up in cyber land"?
