I found this on the sidewalk. The blade is slightly discolored, but other than that, it's a cool looking knife.

Only knife I carry on me is via my Leatherman Mutli-Tool. On our last patrol we did UNITAS and I happened to give mine away to one of the Colombian Navy officers that did a crew swap on our boat. Not even a day after he departed the ship I needed that thing. Not to say I wouldn't trade another one in for cool memorabilia, but man I was irked at not having my favorite tool on me.

Pretty tough to beat a 4"-6" buck knife.

I know what you mean about that Multi-Tool...A shooting buddy of mine gave me a Stainless Model several years ago. I use it for everything...I am never without it. My wife "borrowed it " so much I had to get her one.

Hey Steve, ever heard of these things called the ATAX (All-Terrain Ax)? This thing looks versatile as hell, but haven't found many people that have utilized them before, much less seen them.

I don't know, the Cold Steel Fgx is made of a special hard plastic. It's only for self defense, but on the other hand, it's cheap and never gets rusty. lol

Worth every penny. (Well, it's not even that expensive to be honest.)

Not a fan of flashy, shiny knives. I like durable, purpose built stuff.

One of my favorites.

I was more into flashy knives when I was a teenager.

My favored knife design, as far as single, folding blade knives go, is the one with the seatbelt cutter, kind of like this one:

Of course, that probably has much to do with my job, and the amount of time I spend in moving vehicles, and my intense dislike, distrust, and complete loathing of seatbelts.

Love those knives. I have the SOG Trident in my pocket as I type.

Me neither. I just like the interesting design, but I use my simple ones I have. Usually I sell the too "special" ones. :)

Like this one. It did cost me only 5 dollars though. haha

Multitool, but there is a blade on it, so maybe it's ok in this thread.
