I don't know much about holsters so don't just go by me. I found some nylon holsters that are good. I would say that leather definitely looks better, but I don't know what is truly better.

I would think just using the gun means they posed enough threat to warrent killing them but if the courts want me to horribly maim someone instead I can do that. So tell me is it better to blast their nuts off, blow their intestines out their back, or take their legs off? Anywhere else would probably kill them considering there are arteries in the thighs and arms and neck (along with trachea), vital organs in and around the ribcage, and lets not forget the head.

Sarcasm aside, most people like to think they'll act all calm and collective when threatened but in reality they are all of them scared and self preserving. And will without even thinking fire an entire clip into someone before they snap out of it. The rest who don't have been trained and not by some schmuck, they will probably have been conditioned to be as cold blooded as possible. Well that or they've killed before and are used to it because even with training there is nothing in this world that can prepare you to take a human life.

Also I was using the pmr 30 as an example as to the flaw in the law. My gun of choice for carrying is my M&P 9mm. And considering you just said that your goal is to stop which is by injuring and not killing would it not be better to carry a smaller caliber so you don't kill them by accident, I would think a .22 would do so nicely because as I stated before it would be quite hard to stand let alone attack with any bullet in you.
