Typical day, in the car to work. My normal, G26 in a Bianchi 100 iwb... Oh, and the gun store.

Carried the Glock concealed to dinner last night. No one knew, until I ordered a soda.

I take it you're not usually the "Designated Driver"? I usually am, so even such a restaurant outing wouldn't 'out' me if I were CCing.

Broadlands Starbucks. I was concealed, but there was a gent who was OCing. No Googlie Eyes.

I am aways fine to drive, I just typically order a beer. Everyone I usually go out with for dinner/drinks (Co-workers, family and the like) know when I carrying by what I order. Kinda funny actually, I didn't know they connected the dots until they told me the other night.

Carried the Glock 27 IWB, CC to dinner, and around town. Went to the Pet Store, and ate dinner at McGrady's out on Preston AVE. No issues, great food!

Got new wheels/tires mounted on my truck a few days ago-- tire store put two major gouges(sp) in one of the wheels-- I tell the guy at the counter he glances at my side off and on a couple times and says no problem, well get another on the way

I was oc my 1911 in a blackhawk serpa holster--- went to the range afterwards

Concealed to Barktober Fest at Doggone Natural in Broadlands, VA. MASSIVE IWB holster malfunction as the whole rig worked its way out of the belt line. Found an out-of-the-way place to adjust the "wardrobe malfuncton"....

I've been using my new BladeTech kydex OWB holster and it's awesome. The last four days, I have been carrying everywhere here around Detroit.

Been carrying a lot recently, Glock 27 concealed IWB.

Carried downtown on the mall, then later at Target and Panera.

No issues, which is always nice.

I've lived in Reston for 9 years now and never I mean NEVER saw anyone open carry until yesterday at Harris Teeter, near the town center. Very glad to see that - I wanted to ask the man if anyone had any problem with him, but I was parked waiting for the better half to come out of the store and he was headin off, but I managed to yell "Dude! Allright Open Carry!" and he just gave me a thumbs up. Sad thing about this post is it really IS a big deal. I have a CCW license, but now I'm thinking sooner or later I need to open carry just for the principle of it. Reston is very low crime area but that is really irrelevant, as we all know - a Bad guy can show up in the nicest places and start shooting.

Yesterday I cc'd my fnp9 on my back below my shoulder blade in a own. I went into my local auto zone and the guy at the counter came from behind the counter to question me after I bent over to pick up a basket. He runs down the aisle to ask if he could help me or if I need anything. I told him no. I need oil for an oil change. This clown is still standing there like he needs an introduction. I see that he's a little nervous but I wasn't a calm as I wanted to be either. I asked him if he needed anything our if he was going to go get my oil for me? He could see the disgust on my face when he had to ring me up. I don't know if he was trying to save the planet or if he thought I was stealing but this was definitely something I'll never forget.

Carried the Glock, at 4 o'clock, IWB today. Went apple-picking, though there were about 6 apples on the entire orchard. No issues, and no one knew I was carrying. Good day.

out and about ccw all day. no issues anywhere... just the way i like it.

btw, Alex... still interested in lunch somewhere?
any other c'ville folks up for an impromptu meet over a bite to eat?

The Mall, or...? You didn't carry in the District, did you?

OC'd the Glock to Scottsville yesterday. Went to Subway and the gun shop. No problems there. Was a nice day, no jacket needed!

Conceal carry at Jackson's in Reston Town Center. Some of my guys knew I was carrying since I ordered diet Cola, and not a beer. As usual, they were stunned to know that I was carrying a 9mm invisibly. They used to wonder why I carry - now a couple of them are glad I do, since if a law abiding person can carry so easily, surely criminals do as well.

VERY true.

I CC everywhere - BG380 -way deep concealed... no one can tell.

Whenever I try to carry my .40 with my IWB tuckable, my wife asks what the bulge is (ok - no jokes, guys!). So basically, even with the tuckable IWB, it's still pretty obvious. )-:

It's unfortunate that I can't easily CC with anything other than the BG380...
