All NY proves is that they are a mess. If this keeps the big socialist agenda Democrat Machine in that state spending resources on fixing their internal problems, all the better. But they will fix them. It means nothing Nationally, because the Folks in NY have not experienced enough pain to change their voting habits.

Politically, California and the New England States with a few more sprinkled in are part of the problem. I do not want too make this a Dem or Rep problem, it is really a Liberal//Conservative issue.

When the Social security checks bounce, we will have a sea change in this country. People forget about the largest Ponzi scheme to exist, ever, in the world. Could have Rooseveldt passed Soc Security if all of the money to pay for it had to come from the individual States, with State Appointed US Senators having to vote for it? Absolutely not! SS would have been exposed for the Confidence game that it was and those proposing it would have been discredited. This is one common sense example to illustrate the problem to the uninformed folks who populate this land. They keep raising the age of eligibility for SS. Just the beginning of the end, IMO. Move the carrot just out of reach and your good for another few yards!

Reminds me of the joke... if 50 is the new 40, then 80 must be the new DEAD. :hysterical:

For the unwilling or uniformed, More lessons to follow.

You can put the social security system right up there by the Fed. IMO thats an even bigger sham. Hard to believe the current administration wants to abdicate even more power to them. I get really confused trying to determine who's the bigger crook: Congress or the Fed. I'll settle for both in the same cell.

One more thing. Since the employer is the tax collector for the Fed, Social Security was easier to implement, as was the Income tax itself. If the individual had to write a check every month to pay his or her taxes there would be another thing coming! Elections should be held April 14th IMO.

One more Reason California is a problem. The politicians never think of cutting their salary to help matters. It is always to threaten people with cuts in Police and Schools.

There is talk of a Federal Bail out of California. I hope it does not happen. Would a Senate appointed by their respective States, and Their States want to pay for a bail out of an over spending self indulgent political mess that California has become? Absolutely not. But can we Americans trust our Congress today to not make this bad decision to bail California? Absolutely not. There in lies the lesson folks.

I need to get back to work, I am commission only. I pay confiscatory tax rates because of it. Almost makes me want to go on Welfare. Not! When I am not working, I do not eat. But my dream is to save some money up so that I can have some time off. Oops, The Federal spending our dollar into the toilet will cause hyper inflation and make this impossible.... We need to take the American Dream back folks!

I'm wondering when the balance of power shifts back to the right how much of this stuff will they attempt to undo. My guess is very little. I dont have much faith at all left in our current political system and parties. If I werent a government employee I would run for congress against Connolly.

That is why I think we have to scare them.

Tea Parties are just the beginning. A new third party will come out of this but it will not be anything we see out there now because America has not done the following:

1. Fallen far enough
2. Felt the pain long enough

My parents remember the Depression. Too many people only remember the 80's

We will remember who in the House of Representatives voted for the CAP AND TRADE Bill.

My sign may read:

"An Inconvenient Truth"
is
"An Out Of Control Congress"

Both VA Senators are hedging and saying that they may vote against Cap and Trade. Congress Passes Cap and We Trade Congress! They are positioning themselves for more PORK :piggy: :piggy: As of now I think they will vote for it.

We must march on the 4th to put a scare into :piggy:Webb and :piggy:Warner. Let them know that:"We are coming!" LETS ROLL AMERICA!

That will make 3 votes hostile to gun owners in this state and thats 3 too many!!!!!!!!!!!

Well today the SCOTUS overturned Sotomayor's ruling in the Conn firefighter case. This could conceivably prove problematic during her confirmation process. If you recall the case, she sided with the minorities who claimed the promotion test was unfair. The city threw out the test and one man, a minority who passed sued because they threw out his promotion along with it.

I can't make it due to other obligations. I hope that there will be a good turnout for the cause though! Talk to people about the Second Amendment March while you're there.
