Something different

Post by jdm74 »

Seems like nothing but 10/22's and AR 22LR conversions in here, so here is something different:

Savage mark II. I bought this gun to replace my Walmart special 10/22. Wow, this gun is a tack driver. I've had it for a little while and it has a Bushnell 3-9 scope on it that I took off my 10/22. It just keeps impressing me the more I shoot it. Anybody else have a Mark II that shoots very well? I'm surprised I don't see more of them as good as they are.

:lovegunporn: Nice looking rifle! I have almost the exact same setup except with the black Bushnell 3-9 and the stock doesn't have the thumb-hole, but its of the same wood with the heavy barrel and bipod.

I love that rifle, nice bolt action and has a great trigger. Shoots straighter than any of my friends 10/22's. I love getting into contests with them shooting at a target 50+ yds away. They will be cranking off rounds with their 25 round mags and I will take 1-2 shots and hit it before them :)
