Rick Perry -Big Thuggin' on Ron Paul?

Alex Jones Comment: Ron Paul’s campaign needs to make a public statement on this incident. Perry’s thuggish behavior is identical to how he confronted me in a Mexican restaurant several years ago.
Pictures taken during a commercial break in last night’s GOP debate at the Reagan Presidential Library document how Texas Governor Rick Perry attempted to physically intimidate Congressman Ron Paul, prompting Paul’s security to intervene.

Photographs published by the AP and Reuters show a stern looking Perry holding Paul’s wrist and waving a finger in his face.
Image
Reports by Fox News and International Business Times state that during the break Perry “walked up to Paul’s podium, physically grabbed Paul’s wrist, and pointed at Paul’s face with his other hand.”

A third man, said to be Paul’s security guard, is seen approaching the podium in the picture.

Another photo shows Perry with arms outstretched, leaning in towards Paul engaging in what may be considered lively conversation to say the least. Some Paul supporters have suggested that the shot shows that Perry physically forced Paul away from his own podium during the commercial.
Image
The two candidates were situated directly next to each other during the firey televised debate.

Before the exchange took place, Paul and Perry locked horns in a sharp exchange of words, with the Congressman calling out Perry on his support for ‘HillaryCare’ and his issuance of an executive order to forcibly vaccinate 12-year-old girls against HPV.

Ron Paul’s latest campaign ad, which ran during the debate commercials, also targeted Perry, exposing his previous record as a Democrat and his intimate links to Al Gore’s 1988 Presidential campaign.

The images clearly indicate that Perry tried to physically intimidate the Congressman. The two campaigns have been asked to clarify what actually occurred during the exchange.
I wonder if Paul dared to ask Perry why Google autocomplete suggests "rick perry gay" when you type "rick perry" into the searchbar? (try it, its the third option down)

Hard to really comment without knowing what was really said.

Don't like either of them. RP is too extreme and Perry is somewhere in between Bush and McCain.

The GOP will shoot itself in the foot again if either of these guys end up representing the right. They never learn...

I don't think Paul is extreme. I think what we have now is extreme.

Well according to both Ron Paul and Perry this little discussion was quite cordial even friendly, so I think three stills don't say a darn thing. I know they can't open carry there but they have a darn better castle doctrine than we have here. Perry has signed every pro-2nd amen bill that has graced his desk. TX is the only state to even try and fight the TSA--VA is happy to let it's citizens be assaulted and irradiated everyday at the airport. Perry said that if that bill had passed he would have signed it--we can thank TSA thugs and the TX sen maj. leader for killing that bill.

As for not liking Perry--well Ron Paul is not likely to get the nomination, so you got a few choices there Romney, Bachman, Perry, and Santorum as I see the race shaping up. So what is your pick?

here is what perry has signed into law all of these are issues breated by the government except the helicopter ride shooting that shouldnt be issues in the first place. not that im saying im not happy he signed them but we inherently have a right to protect ourselves and being happy with these bills that are basically just saying ok now you have the right here...here...and here but not here is pointless. We have a Right and should be free to exercise that without restriction which is ron pauls point.

I will take every step forward as a step forward. Like I have said before I like Ron Paul. If he makes it to the VA primary I will take a most serious look at voting for him. His foreign policy scares me a bit, but everything else A-OK! But I am keeping my options open as well. I think Perry would be a sight better than what we have now in office.

Really Kruetz--that is a bit juvenile. :bangin: The man can't help what his name is. He didn't choose it--neither did his parents nor his parents parents.

You may want to dig a bit deeper into how "santorum" came to mean what it does now.
