Just got power back a few hours ago... Just got done cleaning up.

In serious. The only things I had issues with were the kids, and D-cells.

I had battery operated fans, suspected I would only need the a day or two. NOPE! SOLID WEEK! Looking at solar chargers...

My girlfriends kids are good kids... but picky-picky eaters. I was trying to balance out saving money. Went out the window. Gotta find a "freeze-dried chicken Nugget"

I would suggest something not battery powered. Consider a V Line. They are all mechanical no batteries or cords just press the combo and twist. http://www.botachtactical.com/vlinecombat.html

Thanks yall for all the suggestions. Right now I am at 26 weeks pregnant which for those of you who like my husband don't speak "weeks" that is about 6 and 1/2 months. So right now I am stuck with a belly band and a flashbang type carry. I have to be careful with throwing off my balance because it throws off my balance and so I have to carry very close to my body and nothing can swing around. I think after the baby is born and I can fit back into jeans again (usually by 6 weeks post partum) I will look for a good gun belt and an OWB for around the house carry--when I don't care who sees me carrying and for the winter when cover garments are easier to pull off. For the night time I think I will look into a small safe of some sort--again just with finances it will likely be sometime around Jan/Feb, but better than nothing.

Looks like Maria is a possibility for us now too.

At least Katia seems to have made a Big Right Turn , so far at least.
