SSG Tactical is open for business

They fell a couple of weeks behind their original date to open their doors but it looks like the SSG Tactical brick and mortar shop is operational.

Didn't know a gun store was opening up there. I'll have to stop by and check it out soon.

They were still setting up shop when I paid a visit last week but things appear to be coming along nicely. For such a small store I was impressed with their selection of firearms.

The yellow lab greeting me at the door was an unexpected but pleasant surprise.

I spent several minutes shooting the breeze with one of their staff and looking over their shotguns. My budget can't support the purchase of a new firearm right now but I managed to wring a few dollars out for a few boxes of ammo before heading out the door.

I checked SSG Tactical out last Thursday. I dropped off a stack of VGOF stickers with them. Ask them for one!

They seemed like a good group of guys with a good selection of "toys". I'll definitely be checking them out again soon

I stopped in today. First thing I checked was to make sure there was no silly "no guns" sign on the door like at another area gun store. The place was very well-stocked. I was not expecting to see full cases and gun racks. The gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. I had a lot of questions about ARs and he went thru the range of options, and I got to fondle too.

I'm impressed and intend to go back soon, and frequently.
