1. Roanoke County drops effort on new firearm discharge ordinance

Good news! The Roanoke County Board of Supervisors has decided that more gun control isn't in their political interest. This has been sent to those of you who contacted the Board of Supervisors last week to oppose any new firearm discharge ordinances:

2. Gun show coordinators needed!
**************************************************

We are looking for two volunteers to take over as gun show coordinator in Norfolk and in Northern VA. Ed Burton has stepped down in Norfolk, and Sam Childress will be stepping down as coordinator of the Dale City show. VCDL would like to thank them both for their hard work and dedication.

VCDL regional gun show coordinators are responsible for managing volunteers, scheduling and setting up tables at gun shows and other local events, and submitting a report to VCDL leadership after the event. Experience as a VCDL table volunteer is preferred but not required.

If you are interested in either position, please contact David Park at gunshowcoord@vcdl.org for more information.

As an all volunteer organization, VCDL depends on YOU to volunteer your time at our area events, where we recruit new activists and keep gun owners informed.
