04/06/11 - Reminder and Update on GMU presentation

Post by allingeneral »

VCDL's meeting schedule: http://www.vcdl.org/meetings.html
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Abbreviations used in VA-ALERT: http://www.vcdl.org/help/abbr.html
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I will be speaking and showing a slide presentation at George Mason University (GMU) in Fairfax today, Wednesday, April 6th, from 5 PM to 7 PM. The topic will be the past, present, and future of campus carry in Virginia. I will also field general firearms-related questions at the end of the talk.

And, unlike my anti-freedom counterparts, I will be glad to take questions from those who don't agree with me!

The location will be on the GMU Fairfax campus in the Lecture Hall/Lecture Center in Room 1.

The room will hold 320 people. Attendees can park in either the Rappahannock parking deck, the Sandy Creek parking deck, or the Mason Pond parking deck. Parking fees: 1 hour is $3, for 2 hours is $5, and 3 hours is $7. I
believe they take credit cards, but you might bring cash just in case.

The Lecture hall is building #34 on this map (upper-right corner of grid 3-D):

The talk is open to the public, so If you can make it, come out and show support!

Karolyn Galarza, who is coordinating Gun Week at GMU, has decided to postpone the range shooting that was to be held this weekend. It will most probably be held in the fall. Thanks to all of you who volunteered to instruct
the new student shooters.
