I thought Obama had already tried to get Traver approved by the Senate and failed? Does this mean that Obama is sidestepping the Senate Approval process with so called "interim" placement?

What he;s doing is offering the job on an acting basis..whereas its not an appointment just"temporary" To be confirmed he would have to be blessed by the Senate and it only takes one Senator to hold that process up and make the appointment null and void....
