Back in 2009 I acquired an Arsenal SLR-107UR rifle with the express intent of getting it rebuilt into what it was supposed to be originally, a sweet piece with an 8" barrel. The gun as imported is hideous. So I sent it off to Jim Fuller in Las Vegas back in November '09. I wanted to do a direct return, cutting out the local dealer middleman, which he had never done before but was game to try. There were many snags along the way, but ATF finally yielded to my persistence and approved the transfer in February of this year. When I got the rifle in March, it was not quite what I'd ordered, so I had to send it back. Jim and his wife were very interested in making sure I got what I wanted, so when the rifle came back a second time, it was to stay: the rifle is now exactly what I'd ordered.

She runs like a top. Recoil is a bit heavier than I expected. I'm wondering if the Russian-style booster may have something to do with that. I do know the forearm gets too hot to hold after a hundred rounds. The heat shield only slows the heat a bit.
I was very pleased with how things turned out. Enough that I sent Rifle Dynamics another 107UR to turn into a clone of this rifle. I can't think of a higher recommendation.
