.300 Win Mag Rifles
Re: .300 Win Mag Rifles
I'm glad I didnt post as the first response when I originally saw this thread - would have revealed my "amateur" level of win mag knowledge. I have a Savage 110, .300 of course, with accu-trigger, Nikon scope - I'm very pleased, and it suits my needs. I doubt I will ever take a shot over 400 or so yards.

Savage makes some very good low cost rifles.

Re: .300 Win Mag Rifles
Being Les Baer I'm sure they are well built, but I've never shot that particular gun. Personally for that kind of money I'd rather have a LMT quick change AR. A semi is nice (I had an AR10), but they just never will be as reliable as a bolt action. As a side note, when they market them as "sniper" they mean more of a LEO sniper role rather than a military sniper. I shot mine well to about 700 yards, but beyond that it was spotty.crowell33 wrote:So...having said all that, any opinions on the Les Bauer .308 Ultimate Match?
