I'm heading north in the next day or two. I've checked all the local shops in the Richmond area with no luck. I'm looking for a IWB holster for my new Springfield XD Subcompact. Can someone recommend a few good places to check south of Springfield? I've thought about ordering a crossbreed "super tuck." If you have any feedback on that. Please share it with me.
Thanks

Re: Looking For a IWB Holster
I bought my favorite holster for daily carry at Cheaper Than Dirt. It is similar to the one at the following link: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ItemDeta ... ku=zaa-826. I hope this is helpful to you.ChicagoGuy wrote:I'm heading north in the next day or two. I've checked all the local shops in the Richmond area with no luck. I have a CB Super Tuck for my Kimber Ultra, and it's super comfortable. I highly recommend this holster.

You can't go wrong with a Milt Sparks Summer Special.
I've heard a lot of folks really love the super tuck, but I haven't tried one out myself yet.

If it's a 1911
Go to

then go to the home page.
on the left side, there's a link for holsters
If it's not a 1911, why not?

The Comp-TAC MTAC is a great holster. Similar to the Cross Breed SuperTuck, but a little less leather. I've used the MTAC for several years now with several different guns and it's been great with all of them.
Re: Looking For a IWB Holster
A few weeks late, but the Cross Breed Super Tuck is great and their customer service is even better.
I messed up adjusting the retention and needed a new piece of kydex. I contacted them, ending up mailing the broken holster (with a homemade combat cut) along with a check for the repair fee, and ended up receiving in the mail about 5 working days later a brand new holster with combat cut. It was a great surprise, but the downside is it had to be remolded to my body.
It conceals great (even on my sub 6ft, sub 180 lbs frame) and rides comfortably. I would recommend one to anyone looking for an IWB holster.
