Man who claimed self-defense now charged with murder in Newp

I don't know anything about setting up a fund. Any info would be greatly appreciated. They are looking for " The Best" lawyer. I was suggested a guy named David Olson. I heard he used to be a Commonwealth Attorney for Newport News. Maybe he might have some pull ? Or know some strings ! Anyways I have not been able to talk to him. And his baby mamma seems to be acting (sounding) very selfish. Saying stuff the wrong way. She was not upset when she called to say he got arrested. All she mentioned was how "Now, I have to move, and find a new place to live" . I just hope she does not turn her back on him when he needs her the most. Another weird twist ... Almost %90 percent of my friends and some of my family are friends with Greg. Mostly from going to school. Well I am about try to start this "Free Chuck" thing and piss alot of people off. I am sure I am going to lose alot of Facebook friends. But its worth it to back my one true friend.
And alot of his friends are wanna be gang banger white thugs. So I don't want to put my family in any harm. But I guess thats why I stay home and keep my pistol loaded.

P.S You may want to "mention" to his baby momma, that if he gets convicted & jailed...there goes her chid support money, so it's in her best interest to be helpful & involved.

LOL, I guarantee you if she hears that, she will be more cooperative!!

Then, once everything is said and done, kick her to the curb, because now he knows all she is worried about is herself...

His wife seems to be acting different . Maybe its just shock and stress . I couldn't imagine being in her shoes now. Well today he was given bond. Charles had like 13 friends and family there. And 3 letters from his supervisors and employer saying they were holding his position. Greg , had his mother and brother. Some friends ! The judge kept saying " It would just be too easy to say no " . And he said the last guy he gave bond to on murder had troubles before pre trial. I guess he could see something special in this case. Does DA stand for dumb ass ? Cause that woman looked stupid. She complained that fourth was spelled "without the u" on one of his School documents. She complained that Charles called 14 times asking about his gun over the past 8 months. She only mentioned ... " He called about his gun " not his case . She wanted to know why he was at a bar drinking while his wife and baby was at home. Well he wasn't married nor had the baby at the time. She was just reaching. She said that they had no idea he had been back in state working becasue he had not called recently. They knew where he worked and lived. He was given permission to leave state for his job. She said they had the "fugitive squad" ready to go get him out of state. I hope this sets the tone for the rest of the case.

His next court date is April 13. Its a bond hearing. I will keep you guys posted. Some of your statements give me hope for him. I just don't have much faith in our judicial systems. And I am affraid they are going to try and make some political case/statement out of this.

Have you set up a legal defense fund for him yet? A good lawyer makes all the difference. You absolutely do not want a public defender on the job when stakes are so high.
