Nations Gun Show in Dulles...What did you get?
Anyone make a purchase at the show yet or is planning on it tomorrow? I picked up a brand new Eotech EXPS3-0 for $509 out the door
Re: Nations Gun Show in Dulles...What did you get?
I will be rolling out tomorrow to grab an Aimpoint C3 or ML3 and a Bobro or American Defense mount for it.

It was cold and windy waiting in line for 30 minutes to get in today. Man, that place was PACKED! I didn't buy anything, but I did get to meet the now infamous Dick Heller and gave him a couple of VGOF stickers. He seemed interested. I told him that I'd be honored if he signed on to VGOF and waved at everyone

Nada...
Then again I was looking for a synthetic stocked .308 Remington/Sako/CZ and the few I found were significantly overpriced

Yep, Mr. Heller is a very, very cool guy. He's still fighting for our freedom, and for that, he's a #1 dude.
Did anybody notice prices on 7.62x54R ammo at all? I'm looking for some of the Russian surplus.

Re: Nations Gun Show in Dulles...What did you get?
I went Friday and Saturday. A lot less crowded Friday and I got a 3 day pass for a few bucks extra. It was worth it as I did not have to stand in line with all those other people today.
I don't know how much this has to do with Obama hiring anti-gun folks and the Arizona shooting aftermath but I have never seen it so crowded. I could barely walk around.
Picked up a bunch of ammo. Not really cheaper then buying it online but at least I didn't have to pay shipping.
Hornady 6.8 SPC 110 Gr V-Max: 21.95/20 (man that is some expensive ammo)
Sellier & Bellot .357 Magnum - 23.95/50
Best price of the day on plinking ammo: Aguila .38 Special 17.50/50.
Oh, and 1 pizza, 1 drink, and a Hershey bar for 7 bucks.

Bought nothing. I rarely buy anything at gunshows.
Worked behind the table, sold a few guns. Brought one of my own to sell, no one was interested.

I saw a 440 round can for 79.99. Not sure of its origin. Probably Yugo.

I've only been to that show once, several years ago. Didn't see anything different then the gun shows we have here in Richmond. I find better deals online.

That's actually not too bad. I might swing by there and pick some up. Thanks!Hiwaytahell wrote:CowboyT wrote:Did anybody notice prices on 7.62x54R ammo at all? I'm looking for some of the Russian surplus.

There's more ammo selection at Chantilly. Prices are usually the same as online - and since there's no shipping it can end up being cheaper. Especially when the vendor doesn't care about sales tax.arkypete wrote:I've only been to that show once, several years ago. Didn't see anything different then the gun shows we have here in Richmond. I bought myself a new pistol safe for the bedroom and the Camper
I also looked long and hard at the Remington SPS Tactical 24" barrel with a 1:10 twist in the .308 cal. and so wanted to take it home. It had the adjustable trigger and came set with a 3lb. pull. I will get one it is just the matter of saving my pennies and wait for the next time. Maybe Dale City show.

All I got was a raspy voice and sore feet - spent all of Sunday talking to folks at the Nova Armament table and handing out cards.
