Calendar Events for registered users

Post by allingeneral »

I have enabled the ability of all registered users to add events to the event calendar. Please check the calendar for your event before adding it.

To add an event, just set the event start and end date (if more than one day long) when posting a new topic. If you want to post a new topic without adding an event to the calendar, just leave all of the event options (Day, Month, Year) as "--" and no event will be added.

If you add an event, please create a topic title that will identify the event on the calendar.

Most of all - PLEASE ADD EVENTS! If you know about a shooting event at your local range, add it! If you know about a gun show that's not listed - add it! I want the calendar to be a community effort. I can't do it all myself!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Sweet! Did you already update it with all the Hite Hollow Shoot and Greet events?

Is this the correct info for Staunton ShootnGreet?

There are so many events and venues around - I was hoping that folks would lend a hand getting the calendar populated with event dates.

Step 1) Locate the correct Virginia Regional Forum for your event location.

2) Click the "New Topic" button

3) Set the calendar date for the event. Single day events only need to have the start date created. Multiple day events should have a start and end date defined.

4) Select the Calendar Post icon Image

5) Enter your event subject. Let's go with en event topic format like

"Event Name - Date"

6) Enter the event specifics in the post body and click Submit!

Thanks for your assistance! :) :pistol:
