American Eagle ammo and blazer

Has anyone had a good shooting experience with either the American Eagle ammo or the blazer ammo. I see them all the time and they seem to be fairly inexpensive. While I'm asking, what about Tula in 7.62x39 for a sks? Thanks, Josh

I've used both the Blazer Brass/ Aluminum cases and the American Eagle in 9mm and 40S&W.. Both do what they are supposed to and that is be good target ammo... I found the Eagle to a bit dirty and the Blazer to be relaively clean.. If you don;t mind cleaning your guns buy the one on sale and go nuts... Have never used the Tula so I cna;t offer an opinion on it.

I've used both in .357 and .38 special. Have used Blazer in both JHP and FMJ. In the American Eagle I've used FMJ and LRN (lead round nose). I've found that both were decent ammo. You'll have a little more cleaning to do with the LRN.

They used to be $8.99 for a box of 50 two years ago.

I've fired large quantities of American Eagle .22LR with no problems at all.

No such experience with Blazer or Tula. But I am willing to research that too.

I've had good results with 147gr 9mm flat nose American Eagle for target shooting. Haven't used blazer yet. I ran 15 rounds of Tula 9mm today, no problems, but thats not much of a sample size.

I've used plenty of Am Eagle and Blazer and have plenty in the safe. Good target stuff and relatively inexpensive. Some reloaders dont care for the Blazer though. Never tried Tulsa, but I used to live in Tucson...

The AE is decent stuff for basic target practice. AE is basically Federals budget line. I don't use the Blazer because I reload.

I've reloaded about 2000 Blazer casings in .45. They are the only brand of brass that I've run into that causes problems with seating a new primer however this occurs infrequently in my experience. In 2000 rounds I have only 2 handfuls (literally) of brass which have caused problems.

I've used lots of Blazer Brass in 115 gr 9mm, and have a decent stash stored for practice as well. I've got some 10mm AE, and my only complain is that it's loaded to 10mm "lite" loadings. Good for practice, but I wished it was a little more potent for practice. I've started getting Remington 10mm for practice... That being said, I've had no problems out of either...
