ATF made an announcement at SHOT ... that they will issue a ruling next week on the importability of certain shotguns, hinging on their suitability for sporting purposes.

Speculation centers on Saigas, though I've also seen some concerning the Norinco trench guns. Personally, I expect to see Saigas added to the unimportable list.
Storm clouds on the horizon for shotguns ... maybe Saiga?

Damn it I really like Saiga's! I don't understand the announcement about an announcement either. Why leave people in suspense for a week. I also understand they put some skids on some Tarsus guns that have yet to be released.Diomed wrote:ATF made an announcement at SHOT ... that they will issue a ruling next week on the importability of certain shotguns, hinging on their suitability for sporting purposes.

There they go again, taking our toys and allienating the russians. Politically, I don't trust the rooskies, however engineeringly speaking, they do have superior weaponry. (Most of the time, Ak's still kicking A**)
Has anyone here heard of the russian pistol , which without a suppressor, is quieter than a bb gun? It's ugly, but bad azz.

It appears that they are targetting those guns with "Non Sporting" use options like bayonet lugs and pistol grips , Seems to me that someone may use thise in their sport
but as usual we will have to wait and see just what nonsense they come out with and what BS logic they want to apply to doing it. They may say composite stocks are illegal now ....It's just more damn regulation that bypasses Congress and the people to attain their reatrictive take over minded agenda,

Starting to look like a rickroll.
