Need Gunsmith

If you got a good deal or great service from a shop or range and you want to brag about them, here's the place to do it. Likewise, if you are unhappy about someone's service or feel like you've been ripped off, we want to know that too!

Need Gunsmith

Post by zombiehunter »

Looking for someone to thread my barrel on the AR15, any gunsmiths in the Colonial Heights/Chester area, or Tri-City area?

Call Dance's Sporting Goods and ask them if they know of a good gunsmith in town.

I went to dances, and they recommended a place called Locust Hill Arsenal, but I recently found out that its a guy doing stuff out of his house and not sure of the quality of his work.

I haven't been there in a year, and Trapper had heart issues last year, there is Trapper's Triangle up in Ashland, next to White Oak Equipment a few miles north of Greentop's.
You just have to ask yourself, is he telling you the truth based on knowledge and experience or spreading internet myths?

I'd heard, secondhand, that Trapper had sold the business and was no longer involved with TTI. Anyone got some more definitive scoop?
