I have an amt backup 380 that needs a firing pin. Does anyone know where locally I can get one? It's the older model backup. Thanks

If you can post a photo of it as I may have one in my parts box that I can send you.

I doubt any place local will have one. Even most gun smiths would have to order that part.

I know for a fact that I striped one down years ago prior to destrying the frame as mandated by the state for confiscated weapons after the case was tried and a verdict renderd. I know that I have the bolt and other parts I am just not sure about the pin.

Bill I appreciate your offer to send me one, but if that was the case I'd prefer to buy it. Secondly, I'm going to the gun show on Sunday and fingers crossed maybe someone there will have the one I need. My gun is a single action with no exposed hammer, and the only one I see online is for a double action. Wish me luck. :bangin:

Bill, do you have a email address I can send a picture of the firing pin to?> I have just about exhausted my other options at this point. The gun is a amt 380 backup single action which means the firing pin has one notch not two. Also, what would you want for it? Thanks.

Whatever it cost to send you the part, that's what it will cost if I have one.

I will go out to my parts box in the garage and dig around for it. It might take a little while as I am right now working with one arm as the right arm is in a sling from several hrs. of surgery last week. But we will find it if I still have it.
