Nuckol's in Staunton has .380 ammo...

Post by herohog »

Nuckol's has .380 ammo! It is loose in a zip-loc bag, looks like about 25 rounds, for Only $45.00!!!! :hysterical:
I love the shop and I usually get good prices there but when I saw that it was all I could do not to crack up! On the door they have a sign saying that they are limiting the ammo they have to 2 boxes per customer. That I can understand. I find it hard to blame whoever is selling that ammo (I am assuming it is one of the employees who works there's personal stock) because the market is what it is but there is a limit! If my ONLY defense gun was a .380 and I was OUT of ammo and I couldn't find it elsewhere, I would buy a bag but ONLY if ALL those conditions were met! This has gotten WAY out of hand...

I saw very little .380 ammo at the Fredericksburg show a couple of weekends ago. There was only one place that had any factory ammo, the rest were reloads. The factory ammo was MagTech, the guy had two boxes and he wanted $35.00 per box of 50!

Makes me wish I had invested in .380 ammo instead of my 401k for the last 10 years! lol (grumble)

Given what I have seen at the last few gun shows and gun shops, $35 for 50 rounds sounds down right reasonable! I am looking for a set of Lee .380 dies myself...

Have been waiting weeks for a set of 9mm carbide dies. I've got a set for .45 in carbide. I even splurged for primers today on gunbroker. Not too bad of a deal.
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...
