i need a virginia beach deer processor!

i am from Michigan and hunted up there this year, i shot a last minute deer and brought it back to VA Beach, where i was hopeing to get it made into sausage, or pepperoni sticks, there are a couple places in hampton roads that will cut and wrap, but i want someone to make me some sticks, or sausage? HELP!

This is the only game meat processor I know of in the Hampton Roads area. Give them a call and see if they can grind for you.

apparently, they will process the deer but will not make sausage... wtf???

I had heard that they no longer handled game meat, but I could be mistaken. Give them a call and ask to be sure.

yeah cental meat was so backed up in january that they told me to freeze the meat and wait my turn, but they dont do sausage.
but i will try the one in norfolk, sausage is about the only thing i really eat deer wise, the wife doesnt eat it!

yeah thanks Jim, that is real close to my house, hopefully he can make what i like! not sure how long a sausage on a hoagie would last in a flat rate box, but THANKS,

It's not hard to do it yourself, you have already done the hard work. All you need is a grinder, pork fat and seasoning.

i have ground my own before, but i am hesitant to do my own smokeing, arent most summer sausages smoked? or dried in some way? or am i missing the reality that they are baked in the oven or something?

ive been going to toms meat market on holland road in virgina beach for years. ive gone to other places and toms is by far the best. they make great sausage and just about anything you want. they will have it back to you within a week if not sooner.
