The cost for the class is $85.00
The Utah permit is the brass ring for those who travel and carry a firearm for self defense. When combined with a Virginia resident permit, you will be allowed to carry your handgun in 33 states.
Online registration for this course and additional details may be found here - http://proactiveshooters.com/general-co ... mit-class/
This course also satisfies the requirement for obtaining a Virginia concealed handgun permit and an additional certificate is provided at no extra cost. You may also use this class towards applying for a Florida non-resident permit (additional live fire session required for Florida).

You and I are on several boards together so not sure if you're aware of this or not. AZ has the same training requirements as FL...can be done entirely thru the mail...and almost identical reciprocity.ProShooter wrote: This course also satisfies the requirement for obtaining a Virginia concealed handgun permit and an additional certificate is provided at no extra cost. Good to know, thank you. I don't get many folks asking about Arizona permits but the more opportunities, the better!mrjam2jab wrote:You and I are on several boards together so not sure if you're aware of this or not. Good to know. All you have to do is provide a copy of your current permit and they accept that as competency...and an AZ non resident would give me the 1 state I need...good ole Alabamy...
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

With today's economy the cheaper AZ permit (compared to FL) is the way that I went. The only difference in reciprocity is FL will give WA...but I already had that with UT.
