I see you has a Mosin... I have been giving serious thought to one of these as they are so cheap. What is recoil like? I cant find a straight answer.

Worse than a Garand. But a M59 Mosin Carbine is even worse than the 91/30. But Alan shoots them all the time. We have a sniper Mosin, a regular 91/30, and a M59 carbine. And a Tokarev SVT 40 as well. Heres a link to him shooting the M59. If a 10 yr old can do it, you can too.
All our Russian WW2 stuff is 7.62 X 54. Ammo is 85 bucks for 440 rounds.

Nice work. I wish I had gotten into it so young (let
alone had all those to shoot), but my dad doesn't own any firearms.
He's not against 'em, just doesn't use 'em.
Being in a heavy weapons company does have its advantages though.
However, I bet your kid could still probably almost out shoot me if he
gets to shoot like that often.
