The MOVE Act

Post by zephyp »

The MOVE act was passed by congress to ensure our deployed heroes get an absentee ballot. States are required to mail them at least 45 days in advance and make sure their votes are counted and included. If you've been following this story for the past few months you are aware of the games being played by DOJ and many blue states and districts. The headline of this article tells all:

EXCLUSIVE: Advocates Cite Purported MOVE Act Violations in Seven More States -------- Seven MORE states!!! The bad part of me kind of hopes a large percentage of these heroes are denied their right to vote in the upcoming election...

Further disrespect for our rights on a large scale. Once again blessed by Holders dog and pony show at the DOJ...I wonder if these States and locals are afraid of something like the military votes all going against them? From what Ive seen Obama and his brown nosers are not exactly at the top of the Military folks favorite people......

That doesnt matter. What matters is here we have all these folks placing their selves in harms way to supposedly "protect our freedom" and they get treated like this...and then "they" wonder when some of these folks "snap"...need I say more...

It matters plenty if the DOJ is looking out for Obamas clowns in the COngress to help swing an election.....50K or 60K votes against the Dems on the home team is a lot of yeas or nays,, You are absolutely right to say they don;t deserve this disrespect and the damn DOJ is giving the states Carte Blanche on this ,.. It ain;t right that's for sure

My apologies Spence. This is a hot button issue for me. Our military gets treated like crap from almost every angle. I've been there and since I've served with these folks for almost the past 30 years so its an in your face thing for me. Its heartbreaking...

No problem brother,,, It is shameful that states can;t get their collective shi& together and send these ballots out on time... Sadly we'll find out later that due to either budget restraints, worker incompetence or other equally lame excuse they were not sent. My biggest bitch is with DOJ ,,,just too many negative incidents occuring and nothing being done about it. Ya know the same ones that claim the Voter Protection Act only covers minorities so the Black Panther incident was OK because they only insulted and bothered whitefolks... Or the civilian trial of 9/11 terrorists, Not pursuing the Cole incident further, Now this voting scandal...You would think that the at fault states Senators would be raising hell, but not a peep out of them,,,, Something just don;t seem right here!!!
