Squirrel in Chesterfield?

Post by Jakeiscrazy »

I'm looking to do a little squirrel hunting in the Chesterfield/Richmond area. I've never done it before, nor do I know a person that has. What are some good WMAs around here? Anything I need other than a .22?

I think the closest WMA to you is Amelia, just off 360 in Chula. Other than a .22 you need plenty of patience to sit under a hickory tree. A squirrel call wouldn't hurt either, they are about $10.00 and very simple to use.

Thanks Vahunter, hopefully I'll have a free weekend this month. Should be fun.
